The occupation is right next to the highway, so we are often met with insults or filming from people in the cars. Sometimes people also throw items in the direction of the occupation. In addition, the amount of noise is quite high due to the highway. Also, last clearing season, a part right next to the occupation has been cut down, so there is a direct view of cut down trees. It is currently very wet and muddy as there is flooding in the area.
Even if we have the self-demand of being queerfeminist, it is to be noted for transparency, that as of now, Tümpeltown is mostly made up of Cis-men. Also there are mostly white people active in the occupation. Also we have the goal to be anti-ableist. There are neurodivergent as well as neurotypical people in the occupation. The as of now existing barriers are in need of reflection and should be reduced. It should also be mentioned that we currently have a vegan kitchen. Freegan food is stored separately. Unfortunately, rats are also a recurring problem for us.
